West Ham cannot green-light horrific Niclas Fullkrug transfer deal, it would be outrageous
Niclas Fullkrug looks certain to leave West Ham in January, but Nuno Espirito Santo must ensure his departure is a permanent one.
The striker is no longer a regular starter since the arrival of the former Nottingham Forest manager after a series of poor performances.
Therefore, rumours have been rife over the past few weeks, with Fullkrug almost guaranteed to depart the London Stadium next month.
However, the Hammers must ensure that this is not on a loan deal, with recent rumours suggesting this could happen.

Niclas Fullkrug could be allowed to leave West Ham on loan
Reports emerged from Gazzetta dello Sport on 12 December that the Hammers may be willing to let Fullkrug leave on loan.
The German striker is not short of suitors, with AC Milan tracking the attacker ahead of January.
However, it is not the Italian giants’ first option. Therefore, he could be allowed to leave on loan for six months to see if Italy is the right fit for him.
- Fullkrug joined West Ham last season
- However, he has failed to impress and has now lost his place in the lineup to Callum Wilson
- Now, Fullkrug is expected to leave West Ham in January
If this is allowed, it would be scandalous from West Ham and would surely come back to haunt them.
Given Fullkrug’s current form, there is no guarantee this would be fixed in a new environment, meaning he would inevitably be sent straight back to the London Stadium.

Therefore, West Ham would have to go through the process again of trying to find the striker a new club, with a potentially weaker hand.
Nuno and David Sullivan simply must ensure a permanent resolution is found for Fullkrug this month, or it will be a horrendous transfer blunder.
Who else is interested in Fullkrug?
There have been plenty of other clubs who have shown interest in the striker in recent weeks.
Wolfsburg were reportedly chasing Fullkrug, with several Bundesliga sides also interested.
On top of this, Lazio are also in the race as they look to strengthen their attacking areas.
However, it remains to be seen where Fullkrug will end up come the end of January.
