West Ham can sign Kobbie Mainoo in January amid transfer reveal at Manchester United
West Ham could land the signing of Kobbie Mainoo from Manchester United this window.
Mainoo emerged as a target for West Ham earlier in the season as the Hammers go in search of new midfield options.
Freddie Potts and Matheus Fernandes have been excellent for West Ham, but squad depth can only be seen as a plus at the London Stadium.
Nuno Espirito Santo could move for the Englishman, especially with Man United looking set to replace Mainoo at Old Trafford.
The Irons have now been handed a boost over the future of Mainoo that could see a claret and blue switch materialise in January.

Man United to let Kobbie Mainoo leave on loan
Mainoo could replace Guido Rodriguez at West Ham as the Argentina international continues to underperform in East London.
The 20-year-old has been shut out of the Red Devils starting XI by Ruben Amorim, who has seemingly taken issue with the midfielder.

He has played just 183 Premier League minutes over 10 appearances, a hugely low tally for a player of his qualities.
The Hammers could step in and hand the youngster a regular starting role in E20, with a deal potentially in the pipeline already.
TalkSPORT reported on 15 December that Man United will allow Mainoo to leave Old Trafford on loan this winter.
The Red Devils don’t want to lose him permanently, but the midfielder himself is desperate to get away from Amorim and his boyhood club.
This could pose the perfect opportunity for the claret and blue outfit to complete what could be a transformational signing.

Mainoo could replicate Jesse Lingard at West Ham
The East London club have previous form for signing players on loan from Manchester United in the January window.
Jesse Lingard joined in 2021 and went on to score nine goals and assist four goals in just 16 appearances before returning to Man United.
His career didn’t take off from there, and he ultimately flopped at Nottingham Forest, but the Hammers proved how valuable they can be to a faltering player.
Mainoo has to look at that and imagine what sort of player he could become for the Irons, especially with a World Cup around the corner.
