Niclas Fullkrug 2/10, one player a 9/10 – Every 2024-25 West Ham United signing rated
West Ham have seen 11 different players make a move to the London Stadium throughout the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.
Off the back of a fruitful season last time out, the Hammers entered this campaign with hopes of progressing even further, though that has not been the case.
West Ham have struggled to replicate any signs of success from the last two seasons, resulting in the sacking of Julen Lopetegui and the departure of Tim Steidten.
West Ham Zone rates each signing made prior to, and during, the 2024/25 campaign.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka tops the list for West Ham

Aaron Wan Bissaka – 9
Wan-Bissaka has been a revelation at the London Stadium, having impressed in the majority of his performances under both Lopetegui and Graham Potter. His strong defensive attributes have seen him thrive with the Irons, rarely putting a foot wrong.
A strong case can be made for the Englishman being the best signing made by the Irons this season and he will undoubtedly play a crucial role from now until the end of the campaign.
Max Kilman – 7
Kilman has certainly had a mixed start to life at West Ham. Although, there have certainly been more positives than negatives since his move from Wolves.
Steidten previously claimed that the Irons paid over the odds for the Englishman [New York Times], but given the ever-inflating transfer market, it’s hard to agree with those sentiments and from a pure performance-based standpoint, it was a solid addition for the Hammers.
Wes Foderingham – 4
Foderingham arrived at the club as a third-choice goalkeeper, yet to make a single appearance for the club. It’s hard to be overly critical based on that, but it just feels like a rather pointless signing.
The 33-year-old will likely play a crucial role behind the scenes but it’s difficult to label it as a good signing.
Guido Rodriguez – 6
The Argentine has shown his quality at times, but a severe lack of consistency has prevented him from being a standout player this season.
Rodriguez has always looked to have a mistake in him, but he certainly should not be written off just yet.
Carlos Soler – 8
Soler has been a consistent performer for the Irons this campaign and is only likely to improve under Potter’s stewardship as the revival continues.
The Spaniard has provided an injection of quality into the Hammers midfield and his versatility has proven to be key with Soler occupied in various different positions in the absence of others.
Jean Clair-Todibo – 7
Had it not been for his injury concerns, Todibo would have scored higher than a seven but given the short-term nature of his signing, it has to play a part.
When the Frenchman has played, he has often looked a level above other defenders at the London Stadium and if he can return to full fitness, he can play a huge role in the remainder of the current campaign.
Luis Guilherme was a strange signing for the Irons

Luis Guilherme – 2
The Brazilian arrived for a significant £19.1million [Transfermarkt] and has played just 48 minutes of football in the Premier League.
Even in the absence of several attacking players, Guilherme hasn’t been utilised, and it can’t be a coincidence that it has happened under two different managers. It seems only a matter of time until the Hammers opt to move the Brazilian on.
Evan Ferguson – TBD
On the face of it, the addition of Ferguson looks to be a shrewd addition to a side that have lacked any real attacking identity but only time will tell.
The need for a striker in the winter window was evident, and there were very few options that seemed to make as much sense as the Irishman.
Niclas Fullkrug – 2
The German, off the back of a successful season in the Bundesliga, arrived at the London Stadium with hopes that he could rectify the long-lasting striker concern.
Things just haven’t panned out that way though, with Fullkrug having made just nine Premier League appearances through injury, netting just twice in that time. Not only that, but his 32nd birthday is rapidly approaching and for what appeared to be a short-term fix, it hasn’t been a good signing at all.
Crysencio Summerville – 5
West Ham took a huge risk with the signing of Summerville, with potentially huge rewards. However, the ex-Leeds star hasn’t really been afforded the time to shine, limiting what he can do when he is chosen.
Summerville has registered just two league goal contributions this season, working out around £12.2m spent for every contribution achieved. Not quite value for money.
Mohamadou Kante – N/A
