View: West Ham midfielder Alex Kral has no future at club

David Moyes has all but confirmed that West Ham midfielder Alex Kral has no future at the club with his recent comments.

The Hammers were hit with the absence of Declan Rice for their trip to Anfield last time out.

The Scot told football.london before the game: “Really we could do with Mark Noble being back. He tweaked his knee in shooting practice. I’m hoping Noble could be back.”

Kral would have been disappointed he wasn’t called into action or at least mentioned when the Irons boss was considering how to deal with the absence of their best player.

Things worsened for the 23-year-old when Mark Noble wasn’t fit enough to start and Moyes played Manuel Lanzini out of position rather than selecting the Spartak Moscow loanee.

The Czech Republic international would have been furious having ended the game as an unused sub and might look to exercise the decision by FIFA to allow all foreign players playing for Russian teams a month to find a new club.

The club won’t stand in his way with the midfielder barely playing this season and very unlikely to make his deal a permanent one.

Unfortunate

Kral is obviously a very talented player. He burst onto the scene at a very young age in Czech Republic which earned him a move to Russian outfit Spartak Moscow where he never looked back.

Despite only being 23, he has bags of talent, winning titles and playing in the Champions League whilst earning over 140 club appearances.

In any other season he would have got his shot at the club but not this one. Moyes has firmly stuck with his best starting XI for most of the season with every game so important.

When he has been given the opportunity, he obviously hasn’t shown the boss enough which has left him out of action until another opportunity for the fringe player arises.

It is a shame it hasn’t worked out for Kral but these things happen in football. Thankfully, he was brought in on loan rather than the Hammers spending big money on the player.
