Perfect time for West Ham United to make a move for Memphis Depay
West Ham are looking to bolster their attacking midfield options this summer, and it’s the perfect time for them to move for Barcelona’s Memphis Depay.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo (9 July), Depay is facing an uncertain future at the Catalan club.
The Dutch international is preparing to join the training session in the next week, but his future is far from certain.

Barcelona are planning to sign Raphinha from Leeds United, and should they manage to land him, it could lead to Depay’s departure.
In such a scenario, the Hammers should make a move for the player they reportedly tried to sign last January.
Spanish publication Elnacional reported on 4 January that the Hammers are preparing to sign him. but a deal failed to materialise.
It’s high time they must reignite their interest and snap him up.
While the Hammers need a striker this summer, they should also aim at bolstering their attacking midfield options.
Andriy Yarmolenko left the club this summer, while Manuel Lanzini is linked with a move to Besiktas [Fanatik].
Said Benrahma is another player who has been far from convincing under David Moyes.
Depay would be a cracking signing for the Hammers. He has scored 146 goals in his club career so far and has 42 goals for his country as well.

His stint at Manchester United may not have worked out, but he has done extremely well in France.
At Lyon, he has managed 76 goals in 178 games. Last season, he managed 13 goals for Barcelona.
Depay has got loads of experience and he could be tempted to move to the London club this summer.
If West Ham can get him at a reasonable price, it could turn out to be a transfer masterstroke from the club.
