Paqueta to be followed by £25m flop – Three stars West Ham may sell before deadline day
West Ham have had a frustrating transfer window to date.
Despite the poor displays by Graham Potter’s side last season, few signings have been made.
It has recently been claimed that West Ham are also not prioritising a striker, despite their woes up top.
On top of this, multiple departures could occur before the transfer window slams shut.
As a result, West Ham Zone has analysed three players who could leave the London Stadium this summer.

Lucas Paqueta
Lucas Paqueta has no doubt had a difficult time at West Ham recently.
The midfielder’s spot-fixing case with the FA no doubt caused his performance to drop as he looked to clear his name.

| Appearances | 120 |
| Goals | 18 |
| Assists | 14 |
Now, Paqueta has been cleared of his FA charges, he will now want to get his career back on track.
However, Paqueta is still linked with a departure, with a move back to his native Brazil touted.
With West Ham targeting Tyler Morton, the Liverpool man may be seen as a potential replacement.

Crysencio Summerville
Crysencio Summerville has not found success since his £25 million move to West Ham last summer.
The winger struggled under Julen Lopetegui before picking up a season-ending injury at the start of Potter’s reign.
This was disappointing considering how highly Summerville was rated after impressing at Leeds United.
- Summerville was one of Leeds’ best players before he moved to West Ham
- Last season in 22 matches, the attacker only netted once for the Hammers
- Summerville has been out injured since January
As a result, West Ham may look to cash in on their losses with the winger after failing to adapt to the Premier League.
Fenerbahce have been linked with a loan deal for Summerville, but the Hammers could push for an option to buy.

Maxwel Cornet
Maxwel Cornet spent the 2024/25 campaign away from West Ham after falling out of favour.
Originally out on loan at Southampton, the 28-year-old was eventually sent to Genea under Potter after being recalled.
Therefore, it seems unlikely that the Ivory Coast international will be around the London Stadium for too much longer.
Geneo were linked with Cornet earlier this summer, but rumours have since gone quiet.
Nevertheless, it is hard to see the wing-back in the squad after the window and there is every chance the Italian side could renew their interest.
