Nikola Vlasic will not find it easy to break into David Moyes’ West Ham side
Nikola Vlasic is a West Ham player; the Irons acted very swiftly at the end of the transfer window to bring the 23-year-old to the London Stadium.
The attacking midfielder cost just under £35million but that doesn’t mean that he will be guaranteed a start in David Moyes’ preferred eleven [BBC].
Vlasic is versatile, but the three positions he is probably eyeing up are the number ten role, the left-wing, and the right-wing, but the players in those positions at the moment have started the season brilliantly.

Therefore, we believe that Vlasic is going to have to fight and force his way into Moyes’ plans because we doubt Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals, or Said Benrahma are going to give up their place easily.
For example, Benrahma has had to be patient himself, but he has started the season with two goals and two assists in his first three league games, and he has looked very good just behind Michail Antonio.
Then there is Fornals, who has bagged two goals and won a penalty in his first three league games of the season, and he already looks like much more of a threat than he has at any other point in his Irons career.
The player who you would say most at risk of being replaced by Vlasic is Bowen, who has not scored or provided an assist in his first three league games.
However, his level of performance has been fantastic, and he has completed 2.7 key passes per game as well as providing 3.3 crosses per game, so we can’t see how Moyes drops him [WhoScored].

Obviously, Vlasic will get chances both in the Europa League and the Premier League because of the Hammers’ ridiculous fixture schedule.
However, he will be facing a tough task trying to break into Moyes’ preferred starting XI.
Hopefully, he is up for the challenge and is ready to show everyone what he can do.
