Malick Diouf to fear the worst at West Ham after injury latest ahead of Man United clash
Malick Diouf may not be in for an easy night when West Ham face Manchester United.
West Ham’s 2-0 win over Burnley was a huge one for several reasons, but none more than the fact that it reduced the gap from safety back to three points.
And with Leeds set to face Chelsea, the Irons could close the gap on them if they can secure what would be a shock victory against Manchester United.
However, their chances of doing so may have been hindered by the latest injury update, or in this instance, the lack of one.

Bryan Mbuemo was an early injury doubt for Man United
Manchester United have lost just three of their 12 Premier League away games this season, showcasing just how much of an effort if it will take for the Irons to get anything on Tuesday night.
However, there was a brief sense of optimism ahead of the clash at the London Stadium after footage emerged of Bryan Mbuemo limping out of Old Trafford after their latest victory against Tottenham.
The former Brentford star has taken well to life as a Man United player, with 11 goal contributions in 21 games for the Red Devils across all competitions.
Given that he features on the right of their attack more often than not, his absence would have given Diouf even more reason for optimism, but that may not be the case.
Michael Carrick took his press conference ahead of the clash, and when discussing injuries, he failed to mention any concerns over the availability of Mbuemo, perhaps suggesting that he will be fit as usual.

The one player who can fire West Ham to victory vs Man United comes clear
Crysencio Summerville is the man of the moment for West Ham, having scored a goal in each of his last five appearances for the Irons.
He became the frist player to achieve the feat since Jesse Lengard by doing so.
However, it’s Jarrod Bowen who may have the most influence on Tuesday night, and his record against the Red Devils shows that.
The Englishman has scored three goals in his last five encounters with Man United, and no Irons star scored more against the Red Devils in the competition than he has.
Bowen has three goal contributions in his last three games, and will no doubt be looking to add to that against Carrick’s side.
