Luis Guilherme to West Ham United transfer must be hours away after new development
West Ham are working hard to seal a transfer deal for Palmeiras star Luis Guilherme, and an announcement might be just hours away.
According to Nosso Palestra, the 18-year-old is set to jet into London ahead of a medical on Saturday 8 June, which could mean a deal for Guilherme is very close to completion.
The Palmeiras ace is an extremely exciting prospect in Brazil, having made 45 first-team appearances already since his debut in December 2022, and Hammers fans now have a reason to be excited.
As speculation around Guilherme’s move to the Premier League continues, the winger has started following multiple West Ham players on Instagram in the past few hours.
He currently follows 746 people on the social media app, three of them being Jarrod Bowen, Kurt Zouma and Emerson Palmieri, all of whom have had starring roles with the Irons.

Of course, this could all be coincidental, and just purely speculation, but it’s not likely to be, is it?
Guilherme has no other reason to follow a handful of players from the club he has been linked to other than the fact that he is extremely close to signing for the Hammers.
This would suggest that the signing will be unveiled soon, even despite the summer transfer window yet to open for the Premier League teams.
David Sullivan and Tim Steidten have already searched and failed in the transfer market since the end of the season, with an exciting move for Flamengo’s Fabricio Bruno falling through.
It seems that they have secured their second target from Brazil, however, and fans will certainly take a lot of positivity from the young player’s recent following spree on social media.
