Jamie O’Hara hits back at West Ham United fan after Leicester defeat
Jamie O’Hara hit back at a West Ham United fan in a joking exchange after the 3-1 defeat to Leicester on Tuesday.
Julen Lopetegui suffered another embarrassing defeat to the newly-promoted Foxes at the King Power on 3 December, with sack pressure through the roof [The Sun].
The Irons sit 14th in the Premier League having won just four of their opening 14 matches and are just six points above the relegation zone.
When O’Hara and Jason Cundy asked what would make a Hammers fan, who called into talkSPORT [3 December, 22:50] feel better, he said: “If Bournemouth beat Tottenham, that would be happy days for me.”
O’Hara jokingly replied: “I’m glad you got spanked tonight. West Ham ain’t you.
“We dig you out and say be careful what you wish for, everyone’s said it, in a way we were right but Cundy was also right in talking about the fact that it was maybe time for David Moyes to move on.
“They’ve got it so wrong with Lopetegui, there is so many good managers out there now.”
West Ham must sack Lopetegui soon
The pressure on Lopetegui is only increasing with each poor result and it does not look like the Spaniard will turn it around.
The Hammers have a favourable run of fixtures leading into the New Year with games against Wolves, Bournemouth, Brighton and Southampton before they host Liverpool.
It was imperative that the Irons beat Leicester and gain momentum after they were thrashed by title-chasing Arsenal, but it all came crashing down again.

However, they were defeated 3-1 and it seems like Lopetegui is clinging to his seat in the dugout at the London Stadium.
The Irons should put the former Wolves boss out of his misery and start the search for a new manager as soon as possible.
Otherwise, they may find themselves dragged into a brutal relegation dogfight in no time.
