Footage shows West Ham United winger Said Benrahma may have lost faith in David Moyes
West Ham have been underperforming under David Moyes in the Premier League this season, and his treatment of Said Behrahma has been baffling.
Benrahma scored a stunning goal in the 2-1 loss against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday at the London Stadium, but he was taken off by Moyes in the 64th minute.
West Ham fans were clearly not happy with the decision, as boos rang around the stadium.
New footage has emerged (@whufc_wills) where it could be seen that Benrahama was shaking his head as Moyes was about to make the substitution. It felt like he already knew what was going to happen – that it is him who will be taken off.
Despite playing so well, it came as a big blow to him. Clearly, his body language indicates he may have lost faith in the manager.
Benrahma is a curious case. The Hammers winger can be a match-winner when he is on a song, and at the same time, he can be a frustrating player to watch.

The lack of consistency is the only issue that has prevented him more becoming a great asset for the club, and Moyes has made It clear many times.
Moyes acknowledges that Benrahma has got loads of talent. He can dribble past players and is capable of providing assists and scoring goals. The Hammers boss wants him to do it on a regular basis, and not when he pleases to take his game to the next level.
Since scoring in the 2-1 win against Anderlecht, Benrahma has been consistently performing at a high level. He was superb in the cameo roles against Southampton and Liverpool.
He scored against Bournemouth and produced a superb performance against Manchester United at Old Trafford as well.
The Algerian wizard needs to be utilised in a better way, but Moyes probably doesn’t trust him enough, and it seems the player has been left frustrated as well.
