‘Emerson can pack his bags at West Ham’ as transfer update emerges at Everton
Emerson could be set to leave West Ham depending on what happens at Everton in the summer.
The Italy international has been linked with a departure from the London Stadium in recent months after a largely difficult campaign.
This has coincided with a poor spell for the East London outfit under Graham Potter, as there has been very little to cheer about for the claret and blue faithful.
With the summer window now in view, activity at Everton could dictate the future of Emerson in East London beyond the upcoming window.

Emerson future uncertain at West Ham
There has been a change in tide since the introduction of the English head coach in the left back position for the Hammers.
Despite the experience of the Italian, Potter has often opted to utilise the youthful exuberance of Ollie Scarles, who has been a positive addition.
The 19-year-old has been afforded the opportunity to start ahead of the Champions League winner at times this season, but a new option could come in regardless.
This comes after the Irons showed an interest in Leeds United full-back Junior Firpo as his contract looks set to expire in the summer [TBR Football, 6 May].
The East London outfit aren’t on their own in that, with Everton being one side who have looked into signing the Dominican Republic international in the summer.
It is fair to say that if the Hammers are to win the race to land the Elland Road favourite, they will have to part ways with Emerson before the summer comes to an end.

Firpo could choose West Ham over Everton
There is no doubt that right now the Toffees represent a side on the rise after Moyes came in ahead of the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium move.
This has seen the Merseyside outfit rise to 14th in the Premier League and look set to move forward under their new owners.
Firpo may look at this positivity, but it is fair to say that the five-back system that Potter has been using could suit the former Barcelona man better.
Stat (Championship 24/25) | Junior Firpo |
Appearances | 32 |
Goals | 4 |
Assists | 10 |
This could see him feature well alongside Crysencio Summerville, just as he did last season with Leeds in the Championship.
It will be interesting to see if Firpo would want to move and what that would mean for the future of Emerson in the coming months.
