David Sullivan to take immediate action on Nuno Espirito Santo after West Ham defeat vs Fulham
David Sullivan simply has to part ways with Nuno Espirito Santo.
West Ham suffered a 1-0 defeat to Fulham on Saturday, and their performance didn’t warrant anything more than that – a familiar phrase this season.
The Hammers, not for the first time under Nuno’s stewardship, looked lost for ideas and lacked any real cohesion in the final third.
Nuno has already been walking a tightrope at West Ham, but a decision made in the game against the Cottagers showcases why he needs to go.

Callum Wilson snub is the reason Nuno will be sacked
Callum Wilson isn’t a messiah, but he’s an out-and-out number nine that has proven to be so important to the way West Ham play.
For whatever reason, Nuno opted against starting him against Fulham, and the lack of presence in the final third was felt from the very first minute.
Unsurprisingly, when things weren’t going to plan, Nuno brought Wilson on, and the Hammers looked far more cohesive.
However, his introduction was far from enough to prevent the Hammers from falling to yet another defeat, and there is no circumstance in which Nuno survives that, or at least there shouldn’t be.

Relegation is nailed on for West Ham unless a change is made, and if, after seven games without a win, Sullivan can’t see that, it certainly begs the question as to whether he ever will.
Championship football really could be on its way to the London Stadium
You’d be forgiven if you had forgotten the fact that West Ham were European champions just a few seasons ago, with this current side looking miles away from the quality needed in the Premier League.
Recruitment has played a big part in that, but Nuno’s appointment has been nothing short of a disaster.
Both Graham Potter and Julen Lopetegui were sacked despite actually having a better record than Nunp has now, showcasing the fall from grace.
Seven games without a win is pathetic, and very few managers ever survive that.
Sullivan needs to make that call this weekend, or else the campaign is going to end in misery.
