David Sullivan should be ashamed as forward speaks out on West Ham exit
David Sullivan has been the ire of West Ham supporters for a long time now.
Sullivan‘s interference in transfers is a huge reason why the Hammers are in the situation that they find themselves in.
They should have kicked on after winning the UEFA Europa Conference League, but instead, they have regressed, with many fingers pointing at his ownership.
The latest exit will hurt Hammers supporters more than most, given the player’s association with the East London club.

What did Elisha Sowunmi say after West Ham exit confirmed
Elisha Sowunmi joined the Hammers 10 years ago, at the age of eight, but he has now left for London rivals Tottenham.
The North London side have picked up the 18-year-old for an undisclosed fee, ending his long association with the Irons.
Speaking after joining the Lilywhites, in quotes recorded by Chris Cowlin, he said: “Coming to a club like Spurs, it’s a huge club.
“I’m excited to start. There are a lot of good people here and teammates I knew before I came, which always makes it easier to settle in.
“I’m really, really excited. The place is unbelievable!
“Targets? Definitely to play as much as possible, as much as I can, to win, I love to win, especially at this club as well, it is definitely a huge target.”

Why is what Sowunmi said so bad for West Ham?
Quite frankly, it is a damning indictment of the state of the Hammers at the moment.
There is a pathway to the first team under Nuno Espirito Santo, as shown by the likes of Ezra Mayers and Mohamadou Kante, who have earned their senior debuts this season, so Sowumni may have been the next one to make the step up.
However, clearly, he was not convinced about the direction of the E20 outfit, and has chosen to move to what he feels like is a bigger club, rather than staying with the club that he spent a decade with.
| Teams | Appearances | Goals |
| West Ham Under 18s | 60 | 19 |
| West Ham Under 21s | 8 | 1 |
That statement will hurt for Irons supporters, due to their rivalry with Thomas Frank’s side, and also because they were in a position to overtake them a few years back.
The Hammers could well have been ahead of Spurs, had they built on their European success and made the right moves in the transfer market, but instead, they are losing top talents to them.
Sowumni’s comments will be a hammer blow for the fanbase, and will surely only serve to increase the heat on Sullivan.
Change is needed, and it is needed quickly, if the East London club are to turn things around and avoid a dismal future, and the owner is a huge part of that.
