David Sullivan and Karren Brady throw final dice at West Ham with Endrick transfer approach

West Ham could make a sensational January swoop to sign Endrick from Real Madrid.

West Ham lost 2-0 to Arsenal last time out on Saturday, as the Hammers once again showed a lack of attacking quality.

Nuno Espirito Santo started with Niclas Fullkrug against Arsenal, but the Germany international struggled against the Gunners’ physicality.

Nuno has plenty of work to do at West Ham, and the upcoming winter transfer window will aid him in shaping the squad in his image.

Endrick could prove to be the man for the Irons if David Sullivan and Karren Brady look to make a statement loan move at the London Stadium.

Endrick linked to West Ham again

The Brazil international is a bright talent, but has generally struggled to impress since his big-money move to Real Madrid.

West Ham showed an interest in Endrick over a year ago and could now reignite their interest in signing him on loan in the coming months.

The 19-year-old hasn’t featured for Los Blancos since mid-May, with Xabi Alonso seemingly having a lack of faith in his abilities.

Fichajes has now reported, on 5 October, that the forward will leave temporarily in January due to the limited opportunities under the Spanish head coach.

The outlet has also suggested that the West Ham hierarchy has already made contact with the Spanish giants over a potential loan deal.

Many may see this as a positive deal for the Irons, but it screams of pure desperation from Sullivan and Brady in a last-gasp effort to appease supporters in E20.

Endrick deal wouldn’t benefit Sullivan and Brady’s image

Supporters are far from satisfied with the board’s work at the London Stadium, having endured years of frustration and annoyance.

That feeling hasn’t been helped by many years of poor transfer business, which has hampered the Irons on and off the pitch.

Should Sullivan and Brady move to bring Endrick to West Ham, there is every chance that this negativity would only increase.

The teenager may be a “wonderkid”, but that is far from what the Hammers need right now after such a poor start to the season.

Endrick has been generally poor since joining Real Madrid

He’s scored just one LaLiga goal for arguably the best side in the division, so that form is only likely to be worse at the bottom of the Premier League.

Splashing cash on big wages on a loan deal could be spent in better ways, but with the current state of the Hammers’ transfer business, who knows what could happen?
