David Moyes must sanction West Ham United exit for Callum Marshall despite double award win
West Ham manager David Moyes was a busy man in the summer transfer window, with the boss up against it from the very start after the loss of Declan Rice.
But suitable replacements were brought in with the likes of James Ward-Prowse and Edson Alvarez, with the players enjoying their time in claret and blue this season.
Another man really enjoying himself in East London at this moment in time is youngster Callum Marshall, who currently plays in Premier League 2.

The striker is banging in the goals, and has now been awarded the Premier League 2 Player of the Month award for December [official West Ham website, 12 January]. It is the second time the 19-year-old has clinched the monthly honour, having also received the prize in September.
The teenager now boasts 16 goals from his 10 Premier League 2 matches, and surely cannot be far away from Moyes’s first-team plans.
There is, however, an equal chance that a first-team debut will not arrive anytime soon, with the Hammers ready to let the youngster leave on loan this month [Evening Standard, 31 December].

And that is a transfer that Hammers manager Moyes really should sanction sooner rather than later, with Marshall now ready for the step-up to first-team football.
Continuing his career in the Premier League 2 is certainly not a bad option, but going on loan elsewhere is a much more suitable option at this stage of his career.
Senior football is a more appropriate choice for Marshall if he plans to represent the West Ham first-team in the near future, as that level will really test his ability as opposed to continuing in youth football, where he is thriving.
In other West Ham news, a Fulham update has emerged in a Hammers bid to sign a new defender.
