Benrahma, Rice & Randolph remain in 8 changes – Predicted West Ham XI v Stockport

West Ham United travel to lower-league Stockport County on Monday evening in the third round of the FA Cup.

David Moyes would love to take the Irons as far as possible in the competition, avoiding the mistakes of previous years at the London Stadium.

The Hammers have been knocked out by teams in lower leagues in the two previous years, losing to both Gillingham and West Brom.

West Ham

Given our recent record, we expect Moyes to name a strong side.

Darren Randolph replaced Lukasz Fabianski for the Everton victory last time out, and we expect the Irishman to keep his spot.

The defence has been superb this season, and we can expect all four men to change from the win at Goodison Park.

That means Ben Johnson, Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena and Ryan Fredericks could come in – which is still an experienced backline for the Irons.

Mark Noble should come into captain the side, with Declan Rice continuing his superb start to the season in the Premier League.

Andriy Yarmolenko and Manuel Lanzini will also start, and Said Benrahma will be given the chance to build on his second Premier League start against Everton.

The Algerian is yet to show the promise that Moyes wants to see before giving him an extended run in the side, and this is the perfect opportunity for that.

We would have preferred to have rested Michail Antonio, but with Sebastien Haller closing in on his exit to Ajax, Moyes could have no choice but to start the forward.

Here is our predicted starting XI v Stockport…
