Aaron Wan-Bissaka to keep ear to the ground at West Ham as offer already made at Inter Milan

Aaron Wan-Bissaka could have one eye over his shoulder at West Ham.

Wan-Bissaka was superb for West Ham against Manchester United as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side secured a point away at Old Trafford.

The right-back will be keen to maintain that form as Wan-Bissaka could go to the World Cup with DR Congo in the summer.

Wan-Bissaka has been excellent for West Ham at different times throughout his London Stadium career, but could soon be on his way out.

Links have emerged at Inter Milan that could leave Wan-Bissaka with more questions than answers ahead of the January window.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka to benefit from Inter Milan transfer update

There have been many times this season that Wan-Bissaka has been a shining light for West Ham, and that is likely to attract interest from elsewhere.

The Hammers have struggled throughout the season for consistency, and not even the 28-year-old has been a guaranteed starter.

Nuno has chopped and changed between the ex-Crystal Palace man and Kyle Walker-Peters, with the Congolese defender taking the shirt in recent weeks.

Wan-Bissaka may find himself on the chopping block in the future, as it looks like West Ham wants to bring in another right-back option.

Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport have reported that West Ham have shown interest in Inter Milan defender Denzel Dumfries.

The Netherlands international is said to prefer a San Siro stay than an E20 switch, but that is unlikely to change the opinion of the current full-backs in claret and blue.

Wan-Bissaka could soon demand West Ham exit

With the nature of transfer windows, football clubs are always looking to replace players and improve where they can.

West Ham clearly see Dumfries as an option for the future, but that is unlikely to spell good news for Wan-Bissaka or Walker-Peters.

If the ex-Man United man sees the Irons to be on the lookout for a potential replacement, that could be his signal to force a move elsewhere.

The full-back is up there with one of the Hammers’ best players, but if he doesn’t feel valued, there is little reason why he would stick around.

Dumfries seems dead set against joining West Ham anyway, so the transfer ordeal could cause more problems than positives.
