West Ham Women’s expert Michelle Irons was delighted with Amalie Threstrup after the 27-year-old made her debut against Arsenal.
Paul Konchesky’s side earned a hard-fought point against the Gunners to cement their position in the middle of the Women’s Super League standings.
Threstrup was a second-half substitute for the Hammers and Irons was pleased with her brief cameo for the Irons.
“The first change of the game for West Ham saw Amalie Threstrup come on to make her debut. She certainly gave the back four of Arsenal something new to worry about. She looked bright and full of running,” Irons exclusively told West Ham Zone.
“Another change for West Ham saw Lisa Evans on for Vivienne Asseyi. Asseyi is always working so hard for the team she is a real asset to this squad.

“The game was a great defensive performance and an excellent display from Arnold who got better and better as the game went on. She never dropped her focus or concentration.”
The Irons completed the signing of the Denmark international on deadline day from PSV Vrouwen. The former Liverpool striker is on loan at Victoria Road until the end of the season.
Whilst on Merseyside, the 27-year-old netted four times in all competitions, although it was not enough to see the Reds return to the WSL at the first time of asking.
