West Ham will open talks for Nikola Milenkovic next week
West Ham United were likely left shocked this week as talks for Nikola Milenkovic reportedly collapsed.
Sky Sports shared on Friday that Tottenham were looking to take advantage as Fiorentina and the Irons saw their negotiations break down.
David Moyes won’t have given up hope though, and Calciomercato have shared a further update on the situation.
It is reported that talks will begin once again on the 20th of August.
That is next Friday, with other options not completely shut down as the transfer window continues to drag on.
With other options such as Kurt Zouma also having collapsed, the list is getting shorter with each passing week.
Stumped.
We are simply left scratching our heads to how this can happen with every single defender we are pursuing this summer.
Is there a financial problem? Or is it just GSB once again rejecting to pay the money needed to secure big signings such as this one?
Milenkovic would be the perfect signing; he’s young, has captained in a major league and therefore has huge amounts of experience.
That goes a long way in the Premier League, and hopefully, we don’t have to watch Spurs take advantage in the next week.
It is going to be a nervous wait at the London Stadium.
