West Ham want to sign Real Madrid attacker Isco in the summer

West Ham are reportedly keen on securing the services of Real Madrid attacker and Spain international Isco in the summer.

According to Spanish media outlet Estadio Deportivo, neither Isco nor his team are keen on extending his contract.

As his current deal runs out on June 30, he is set to become a free agent at the end of the season and already is eligible to speak with overseas clubs over a move.

Too much baggage

Isco may be a talented player but he would come in with the ego of being a world class talent.

He would demand things happen his way and that could impact the morale of the dressing room.

Right now, the Hammers side are a close-knit bunch that are clearly punching above their weights.

The last thing David Moyes would want is for a diva to come in and disrupt the harmony behind the scenes.

He would also want a huge salary and could look to become the top earner at the club.

All these signs point toward major red flags and if the decision makers at the club want to be sensible for once, this is a signing they should stay far away from even if he is a Champions League winner and free agent.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers have scouted a £20m-rated ‘Dangerous’ British striker and want to seal a permanent move this summer.
