West Ham want to sign Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly
West Ham have reportedly identified Bournemouth centre-back Lloyd Kelly as one of their defensive options in January.
According to The Telegraph, the left-footed defender has found his way near the top of David Moyes’ shortlist for the coming transfer window.
Kelly, 23, is already the captain of the Championship side and his leadership abilities have been one of the reasons that the Hammers boss has shown an interest in him.

Ideal signing
Thus far, most of the defenders West Ham have been linked with have been in the Premier League.
They’re undoubtedly going to be more expensive than players in the Championship.
While the Cherries find themselves in contention to be promoted, it’s far from guaranteed that they actually will come up.
If the Hammers make an offer, the player is unlikely to not consider a move to the London Stadium.
Not only will they offer him Premier League football, but he can also play in Europe and help the club finish in the top four to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

West Ham will also offer him higher wages and good performances for them could put him in contention for an England call-up.
The fact that he’s left-footed makes him all the more appetising and we’re hoping that the club tables a genuine offer soon.
