West Ham vs Newcastle United preview: Team news, expected lineups, score prediction
West Ham go into a clash with Newcastle United on Sunday desperate for a win.
Nuno Espirito Santo is coming under pressure at West Ham after a winless start in his opening three games in charge at the London Stadium.
The Portuguese head coach watched on as West Ham lost 2-1 against Leeds United last time out in a largely frustrating performance.
The Hammers will now hope to turn things around with West Ham set to welcome Newcastle to East London in their next Premier League outing.
Eddie Howe’s side will represent a tough test, especially with the Irons looking hugely susceptible at home so far this campaign.

Preview
Nuno came in at West Ham with the remit of guiding the claret and blue outfit out and away from the relegation zone.
The ex-Nottingham Forest boss has failed to do so since moving to E20 and has maintained the terrible form that has been seen since the start of the calendar year.

Newcastle will see that and be keen to take advantage and secure three points of their own while becoming the latest away side to win at the Olympic Park.
The Hammers haven’t won at home since February and are facing a top outfit that has lost just one of their last six, so that won’t help.

Team news
It doesn’t look as if things are going to get much easier for Nuno as he continues to go without Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The head coach could welcome back Niclas Fullkrug, but given that he has only just returned to individual training, it feels unlikely against the Magpies.

George Earthy is also edging closer to finishing his injury recovery, but again, isn’t likely to feature at the London Stadium.
Newcastle have injury issues of their own, but appear to have no fresh concerns, with Tino Livramento, Lewis Hall, and Yoane Wissa set to remain on the sidelines in E20.
Predicted lineups
West Ham: Areola, Diouf, Kilman, Igor, Walker-Peters, Magassa, Fernandes, Summerville, Paqueta, Bowen, Wilson
Newcastle United: Pope, Tripper, Thiaw, Schar, Burn, Tonali, Guimaraes, Joelinton, Gordon, Murphy, Woltemade

Prediction: West Ham 1-3 Newcastle United
Unfortunately for the London Stadium faithful, it is difficult to see anything but an away win as the Magpies travel from the north east.
Howe’s men are coming off the back of a Carabao Cup victory against Tottenham and looked comfortable in doing so.
Considering the fact that Spurs made light work of West Ham, it doesn’t bode well for them in a clash against Newcastle.
With the quality of Bowen, Paqueta and Summerville, the home side will get chances, but they will also concede chances in East London.
It will be a struggle up against star players like Gordon and Woltemade in attacking areas, and they are likely to have that killer instinct at the London Stadium.
