West Ham United work on deal to hire new transfer broker to seal summer deals with David Moyes
West Ham United are working on bringing in an experienced transfer broker to help David Moyes in the transfer market this summer, according to Alan Nixon.
The Hammers are looking to significantly revamp their recruitment department after a disappointing Premier League campaign, with plenty of outgoings and incoming expected for their summer rebuild.
West Ham legend Noble only took up the role of sporting director last summer, and there have been talks about hiring another transfer chief [TalkSPORT, 24 May] ahead of a crucial off-season.

However, according to The Sun’s Nixon, writing on his Patreon page [28 May], the Hammers are working on bringing in an experienced broker to help Moyes navigate through this summer’s dealings.
“Hammers already have Noble and Rob Newman in key roles but wants a seasoned wheeler-dealer to come in and do deals.
“Moyes knows he could lose Declan Rice and others may move on. With money to spend it could be a busy summer for the Hammers.
“And they are currently busy looking for a quick but significant appointment to join in the fun this summer”, Nixon reveals.
Help needed
It certainly seems as if David Moyes is staying at the London Stadium helm beyond this season, after several reports emerging in recent months suggesting that he could lose his job after a dreadful Premier League campaign.
But it seems as if their heroic Europa Conference League run has become his saving grace.

Whether it’s the right West Ham United decision remains to be seen, but it is clear the playing squad needs a significant refresh ahead of a pivotal summer rebuild.
Whoever is at the helm over the next month or so desperately needs help brokering the right deals and most especially trying to locate the perfect Rice replacement with the club captain looking set to leave the London Stadium this summer.
Not only Rice, but Michail Antonio looks set to follow him out the exit door – two crucial players who will need huge replacing and it’s clear Moyes can’t do it himself.
With plenty of funds set to potentially be at Moyes’ disposal following Rice’s big-money sale, it is absolutely imperative the Hammers use those funds wisely, smartly and efficiently to avoid yet another disastrous Premier League campaign.
