West Ham United want to sign Ludovic Ajorque - report

West Ham United want to sign Strasbourg attacker Ludovic Ajorque this month, according to Foot Mercato.

The French outlet have reported on their website that the Irons are closely watching the goal machine and his antics.

It is suggested that Strasbourg are unlikely to let go of their star man during the January window, and it may be on to watch in the summer.

The Irons are clearly trying to strengthen the final third.

David Moyes only has Michail Antonio to call upon as a central striker, and his injury history is more than concerning at the London Stadium.

After going down against Leeds in the FA Cup, the Jamaican has been playing with a knock, something that would usually require a small break.

That is why bringing in another forward is critical, and Daniel Kretinsky will know that as he prepares to finance his first deal this month.

Get it done.

Ajorque could be the perfect signing this month.

Strasbourg are said to be unlikely to accept any offers this month, but could open their doors in the upcoming summer.

That being said, the Irons must push now and test their arm as they look to strengthen their own options in all competitions.

The 27-year-old is currently the second top scorer in the whole of Ligue 1, with Jonathan David only scoring more.

Ahead of the likes of Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe, it is time for Ajorque to test his skills in the Premier League, and where better than the Hammers?
