West Ham United want late loan deal to sign Conor Gallagher amid £45m development
West Ham are looking to seal a last-ditch move for Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher on loan, according to a report from talkSPORT.
The Hammers are not alone in the race. The likes of Crystal Palace and Newcastle United are also in the hunt to sign the 22-year-old midfielder.
Everton, meanwhile, have made a bid worth £45m and Chelsea are considering whether to sell him in the January window.

Wow
West Ham have already made one signing in the January window in the form of Danny Inge who joined from Aston Villa.
They could now look to add one more player, and Gallagher would be a tremendous signing.
The Hammers can get him on loan and then sign him next summer on a permanent deal. He will add tremendous quality to the side, and would be a fabulous addition in midfield.
West Ham need to reinforce their midfield next summer with the futures of Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek in grave doubt.
Rice is almost certain to leave the club next summer as he wants to play for a Champions League club. The Hammers are almost resigned to losing him, and it’s now a question of how much they can earn from his potential sale.
Gallagher was superb during his loan spell at Crystal Palace and he has been impressive in recent games for the Blues as well.
Chelsea could be willing to send Gallagher on loan, and it remains to be seen if Moyes can convince the young midfielder to move to the London Stadium before Tuesday’s deadline.
