West Ham United vs Wolves results predicted by Jamie Carragher for Sky Sports
Jamie Carragher has backed West Ham to get back to winning ways against Wolves after their thrashing at Fulham last weekend.
The pundit tipped the Hammers for the victory by a 1-0 scoreline in his predictions on the Sky Sports website (14 December) to get back on track following a miserable trip across London last weekend.
Both sides have been inconsistent in recent games and Gary O’Neil’s side are coming off a draw with Nottingham Forest last time out but Carragher expects a home win at the London Stadium.

West Ham are currently five points above Wolves in ninth place, with the visitors at the weekend down in 13th.
Rebound opportunity
What was starting to look like some good form earlier this month on the back of late wins over Nottingham Forest and Burnley thanks to Tomas Soucek goals, as well as a comeback victory at Tottenham, the Fulham game was miserable.
The board aren’t minded to make a change at manager for the rest of the season despite the 5-0 at Craven Cottage but David Moyes needs to ensure his side rebound all the same given what damage to the mood within the squad could be done by another negative result.
And on the positive side, despite the up and down form, West Ham are only one positive round of fixtures from climbing into the European places above Newcastle so there is plenty still to play for.

Wolves won’t be the most straight-forward of opponents given a number of their worse results have been heavily affected by poor officiating decisions, so the Irons certainly can’t take the result for granted.
But with three games in succession against Liverpool (EFL Cup), Manchester United and Arsenal this certainly looks like the most winnable ahead of that run to close out the year.
That is still far easier said than done and the players are going to have to come up with a response after a major disappointment last time out in the Premier League.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers have searches in progress in multiple places ahead of the January transfer window, with one named target yet to decide on a possible move.
