West Ham United: Viktor Tsygankov links could see speculation grow over Jarrod Bowen future
West Ham United have been linked with a move for highly-rated winger Viktor Tsygankov – and that could cast some doubt over Jarrod Bowen’s long-term future at the club.
It was reported by Jeunes Footeux (14 September) that the Hammers are rivalling Wolves, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig for the 24-year-old’s services.
90min had revealed (2 June) that Bowen was set for a new bumper contract offer from the Hammers after his call-up to the England squad, but, as of yet, that hasn’t materialised.

His current deal runs until the summer of 2025, and if he doesn’t commit his future to the club this season, speculation will really start to grow over a move away from the London Stadium.
At 24, Tsygankov is a player that could well be viewed as a replacement for the England winger and West Ham testing the water with the Ukrainian could be a sign of things to come if Bowen doesn’t sign a new deal.
The former Hull City man has been exceptional since his move to the London Stadium and there’s no doubt that the Irons will offer him excellent terms to remain at the club.

However, his desire for Champions League football and the opportunities to add some silverware to his collection may be too much for the 25-year-old winger to turn down.
Unless David Moyes can mastermind a run into Europe again in the 2022/23 season, it appears unlikely that Bowen’s contract situation will be resolved.
He won’t be going anywhere anytime soon, but don’t be surprised if the Hammers are linked with a number of wide men in the coming weeks and months.
