West Ham United update on David Moyes revealed by Jim White live on talkSPORT
West Ham United are not considering the sacking of manager David Moyes anytime soon, according to talkSPORT presenter Jim White.
The Scottish manager has been under scrutiny so far this season with the Irons starting slowly in the Premier League despite being unbeaten in the Europa Conference League after two group stage matches.
With the Hammers in the relegation zone, White revealed live on talkSPORT that he had received an update from the club just before going on air about the situation and the club’s stance on the manager.

“I was told this morning, just before we came on air, we support our manager. We are not ones for chopping and changing,” White said.
“David Moyes has plenty of credit in the bank. So much so, there’s a board meeting over Zoom this afternoon and Moyes’ name isn’t even on the agenda.”
Circumstances
It doesn’t take a genius to realise that the start to this season has been anything but ordinary and things are only going to get more mental as the World Cup comes into view.
There have been a number of circumstances which has made the start to the season for West Ham one of the toughest of the whole English top flight and it should be no surprise that there aren’t many points on the board.

Maybe a couple of results should have gone better than they did, away at Everton standing out, but Manchester City have dropped points they shouldn’t have, as have Liverpool and nobody is calling for the heads of Pep Guardiola or Jurgen Klopp.
West Ham are not Watford, most importantly, and won’t fire a manager because they haven’t gone 100 games unbeaten because there is far more understanding of each individual situation at the London Stadium.
It might not be ideal right now, but the form will turn around eventually and Moyes will be safe and sound in his role.
