West Ham United transfer update on Luiz Felipe as Real Betis chiefs jet into London
Ramon Planes, sports director, and Ramon Alarcon, CEO of Real Betis are in London to discuss Luiz Felipe’s potential move to West Ham, per Sevilla ABC.
The Spanish media outlet claims [21 July] that they’re at St George’s Park and talks have been scheduled with the Hammers.
The London outfit are keen on securing the services of the Italy centre-back, 26, this summer.

Progress
Things look to be heading in the right direction for West Ham and their quest to sign a new defender this summer.
There have been links to a number of players, as is the case every summer, but the fact that Betis’ chiefs have flown in suggests that a deal could be done.
The Spanish club are not doing the best in terms of their finances so there’s a possibility of them accepting a lower price.

This is where the Hammers need to show their negotiation skills and prove that they can drive a good bargain right until the end.
Felipe should also want the move otherwise there would be no point in the Betis chiefs flying all the way to London to do this deal.
Hopefully, this one goes ahead without any hindrances as pre-season has begun and the Hammers are still to register new signings.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
