West Ham United transfer update emerges amid links to Crystal Palace ace Eduoard
A “high level” source at West Ham has issued a January transfer update amid links to Crystal Palace striker Odsonne Edouard, per Claret and Hugh.
The news outlet reported on 2 December that the Hammers will only bring in a striker on loan in the January window.
They also claim that it’s unlikely they sign the French striker as Tim Steidten is now in charge of recruitment.

The 25-year-old has demonstrated consistent goal-scoring prowess with five goals this season, showcasing his ability to find the back of the net in the demanding Premier League.
The Frenchman brings a mix of youth and experience, aligning with West Ham’s strategic focus on building a competitive squad for the present and future.
He’s also won the Golden Boot twice in the Scottish Premier League in 2020 and 2021 and has also been voted Celtic’s and SFWA’s Player of the Season.
He has bagged six league goals this season which is what he amassed for the entirety of last season which is a clear sign he’s adapting to life in England.
Edouard’s versatility in the attacking third, coupled with his technical skills and clinical finishing, would complement West Ham’s attacking style under David Moyes.
The 25-year-old is also capable of playing off the left and having him in the side will give the Hammers attack a much more fluid look.
