West Ham United transfer news: Hammers favourites as Sheraldo Becker makes switch to seal Premier League move
Union Berlin striker Sheraldo Becker has switched advisors in order to seal a desired Premier League move this summer with West Ham United now favourites for his signature, according to Christian Falk.
Becker has enjoyed a tremendous campaign in the German top flight, scoring 11 goals and registering seven assists from 32 appearances and the Daily Mail reported on 15 May that the German club were braced for offers this summer.
Sky Sports Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg revealed [16 May] the Hammers’ interest in the player with Fulham and Burnley also interested in Becker’s services, while Fabrizio Romano also confirmed West Ham’s interest with the striker expected to seal a big move.

Now, according to Sport BILD journalist Christian Falk, writing in Romano’s CaughtOffside Substack column [10 June], West Ham United are considered the “biggest prospect” for the 11-goal striker with Union Berlin wanting around €20m (£17.1m) to sell.
The goalscorer wants the move to England and has made the switch in advisor in order to help seal it.
Antonio replacement
With West Ham United having now been confirmed as European champions after their memorable and historic Europa Conference League win over Fiorentina on Wednesday [7 June], there will be a desperate shake-up during the summer transfer window at the London Stadium.
And there may also be plenty of cash to spend with key stars such as Declan Rice and Michail Antonio set to depart the East Londoners this summer, and the former could well be sold for a price north of £100m-plus.

Antonio’s presence will surely be missed in East London which means West Ham United will need a powerful replacement and Becker represents the ideal solution, especially given his tremendous campaign so far this season.
As well as possessing the unique qualities to score and create goals, Becker holds similar attributes to the Jamaican international in that he is incredibly quick, agile, strong and a terrific workhorse off the ball and an influential presence on the break suggesting that the West Ham United faithful certainly won’t miss Antonio too much too soon.
The 28-year-old speed merchant certainly looks ready for a move elsewhere and is at an age where he needs to be looking to progress in his career and there is no better platform to do that than in the Premier League.
Better yet, there may well be no better platform than the London Stadium, with the Irons now playing Europa League football next season.
