West Ham United transfer news: Declan Rice in call with Bayern Munich, ace ‘open’ to move
West Ham ace Declan Rice has had a phone call with Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel and is open to joining the German club, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg.
The Hammers star looks likely to exit the East London outfit this summer, and has now had a “good talk” with the Bundesliga coach.
But Bayern have been told to act fast given the serious interest from Premier League club Arsenal.

“Rice: There was a phone call with Tuchel a few days ago!” Plettenberg wrote on Twitter. “Been told it was a good talk. Both appreciate each other.
“Rice is open to joining Bayern & Tuchel. FCB wants to intensify their efforts now. He’s still a transfer target.
“But: Time is running out as he could sign for Arsenal.”

Summer battle incoming
The transfer window isn’t even open yet but there are seemingly a long list of clubs looking to clinch the signature of Hammers star Rice.
He has long been linked with an exit from East London, and it looks like that will finally happen this summer, with no shortage of potential destinations for the England international.
Rice looks like he has his pick this summer, but West Ham may also hold some power in any negotiations as they look to acquire as much money as possible from his sale.
The midfielder has given his all for the club for several years now, but obviously still has perhaps his biggest task ahead of him with the upcoming Europa Conference League final.
That looks certain to be his last match for the Hammers, with fans desperate to see their beloved captain bow out by lifting the European trophy in Prague next month.
