West Ham United transfer news as Mason Terry seals London Stadium exit
West Ham reserves goalkeeper Mason Terry has secured his London Stadium exit this summer on loan, the club have announced via their official website.
The Hammers confirmed on Friday (25 August) that the 18-year-old will be moving to Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Concord Rangers.
He could make his debut for his new club as early as 26 August when they take on Hastings United.

Makes sense
It makes sense for the Hammers to loan out their best young keeper or certainly one of the best this summer.
West Ham have been pretty proficient in promoting youngsters into the senior side and that’s because they find the right clubs to loan them out.
Terry was not going to get first-team minutes this season at the London Stadium and it’s ideal for his development that he plays senior football.

It may be at a non league side but the experience gained is going to be valuable and that will hold him in good stead for the rest of his career.
Whether or not he makes it to the Hammers first team remains to be seen but he certainly will get a chance to prove that this season.
Hopefully, he does well and in a year or two gives the manager the possibility of having him as the backup goalkeeper at the club.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
