West Ham United to launch new 2022/23 home kit on Thursday as image leaked

West Ham United will officially release their home kit for the 2022/23 season on Thursday (9 June), according to ExWHUemployee.

Writing via his Patreon account on 8 June, the reliable Hammers insider shared a leaked promotion image of the new kit, which shows Lukasz Fabianski, Said Benrahma and Jarrod Bowen modelling it.

It is understood that the Irons will announce the kit officially at some point on Thursday.

It’s strange to see Benramha in the promotion material for West Ham’s new home kit for the 2022/23 season.

That’s because The Sun reported on 8 June that the Hammers are ready to cash in on the 26-year-old Algeria international this summer after struggling to find consistency at the London Stadium.

It is understood that David Moyes has held talks with the former Brentford attacker ahead of the final day of the Premier League season in May and now, it looks as though he’s going to be sold.

We’re not sure when this picture was taken but it was obviously taken before the Hammers decided they were going to cash in on Benrahma.

As for Bowen, it’s good to see him involved because we’d be shocked if there wasn’t interest in him this summer after the season he enjoyed

Bowen also made his debut for England recently, inflating his status in the game even more.

As for the kit itself, it’s nothing special.

It’s claret with blue and white on the sleeves but the pattern is a bit strange and the collar and sleeve cuffs look too big.

We’ve definitely had better in recent years and hope that the away kit is an improvement.

In other West Ham news, a deal is on the cards to sign a forward who Moyes once compared to Wayne Rooney.
