West Ham United team news v Burnley as Mohammed Kudus plagued for weeks
Both Jarrod Bowen and Michail Antonio will not travel with West Ham United for their Premier League clash with Burnley, according to Claret and Hugh.
The outlet reported on its website on Thursday (23 November) that although the two players will miss out on Saturday 25 November, the Hammers are more than hopeful that Mohammed Kudus will be involved, despite being plagued by a back issue for several weeks.
All three players missed international minutes during the November break through injury, with Kudus being used as a second-half sub in Ghana’s final match and the Irons are set to assess his back again with the hope he will be fit for the trip to Turf Moor.

Plagued for weeks
At one point it looked as though David Moyes would be without all three of his most important attackers for Saturday’s meeting with Vincent Kompany’s side, as Bowen, Antonio and Kudus all seemed to pick up knocks within days of one another.
While West Ham supporters will still be frustrated that they will be without Antonio and Bowen at Turf Moor, they have at least received a glimmer of positivity in the news that Kudus should more than likely be available, even if he has been struggling with injury.
Supporters who were unaware of Kudus’ back issues would have likely not noticed that the Ghanaian international had been playing through the pain, as his performances before the November international break were exceptional and showed no sign of injury.

Given the limited forward options at the London Stadium with Bowen and Antonio sidelined, it seems likely that Kudus will have to continue trying to play through his pain and then he may be afforded a chance to recover and rest when other options become available to Moyes.
Hopefully, this discomfort that has “plagued” the 23-year-old doesn’t become any more serious. West Ham really cannot afford to lose their new star man for any extended period of time, especially as they approach the most congested period of the campaign.
