West Ham United are understood to be struggling with a number of small injuries ahead of the Premier League restart, according to Claret and Hugh.

The reliable news outlet claimed that the Hammers could be short on numbers in defence at the London Stadium ahead of their games against Wolves.

It is suggested that players such as Angelo Ogbonna and Arron Cresswell should be back just in time to return for the Hammers.

David Moyes has reiterated the fact that playing so many games in a small amount of time is a huge concern.

It is suggested that the current concern over the pandemic is a reason why youngsters such as Ben Johnson have been added to the squad.

According to the report, the injury problem may go further than just Ogbonna and Cresswell, although no names have been disclosed.
