West Ham United striker Gianluca Scamacca could be sold for £35m transfer fee
West Ham could reportedly lose Declan Rice and Gianluca Scamacca in the same transfer window as this summer’s plans appear to be taking place.
According to reliable Hammers source Six Foot Two [26 May], Scamacca could leave the London Stadium for a £35million fee.
It’s also understood that the club will be looking to re-invest the money they make from player sales with Declan Rice set to command the most funds.
Keep Scamacca
The Italian surely will not have enjoyed his first season in the Premier League and has struggled to find his feet in the English top flight.
The nature of the game is faster and more physical than what it is in Italy, so it’s harsh to write someone off who’s battled fitness issues himself.

There have also been instances where David Moyes has kept him on the bench even when he’s been fit so it’s also about the manager not fully rating him.
It remains to be seen who’s in charge next season as there’s a good chance Scamacca is more willing to stay if Moyes is no longer at the club.
As of now, he’s battling an injury which will keep him out of the final game of the season, but he should be back for pre season.
Until then, we expect to see reports of him being linked with a return to Italy as he was in demand before joining West Ham.
