West Ham United speculated to offer swap deal for Inter star Federico Dimarco, £26.4m fee failing that
West Ham could offer left-back Emerson Palmieri in a swap deal for Inter star Federico Dimarco, according to Inter Live.
If the two clubs cannot agree on such a deal, the Hammers could reportedly try to tempt Inter with a €30million (£26.4million) fee.
A product of the Inter youth academy, Dimarco is now in his second spell with the Italian giants.

“For the coach from Piacenza it represents an element of extreme importance, but it is also true that the urgent need on the part of the Nerazzurri management to monetise at least one sale of a big player makes him highly attractive on the market of the big European realities,” according to Inter Live.
“Especially those increasingly rich in the Premier League. According to the latest estimates, West Ham could also evaluate the annexation behind a direct exchange with compatriot Emerson Palmieri, an old acquaintance of Rome and Chelsea.
“However, in the event that the Marotta–Ausilio duo should refuse the exchange offer for Palmieri, the West Ham management could also drop the hypothesis of inserting a counterpart to easily reach Dimarco’s price tag for an expense of at least €30million.”

Exciting target
Dimarco is enjoying a superb campaign for the Italian side, with the versatile full-back featuring heavily for his club this season.
Capable of playing at left-back, centre-back and left midfield, the 25-year-old has registered four goals and seven assists in all competitions.
His superb displays at both ends of the pitch have helped Inter stay in the fight for a top four spot in Serie A, while he has been a key figure in the club’s superb Champions League run.
The Italy international registered two assists in the 3-3 quarter-final second leg draw with Benfica on Wednesday (19 April), with Inter setting up an exciting clash with fierce rivals Milan in the semi-finals.
It would be a fantastic signing for West Ham, but not only can they expect competition for his signature, they need to secure their Premier League survival if they want to have any hope of landing the left-back this summer.
