West Ham United share tunnel footage as Declan Rice issues rallying cry v Everton

West Ham United have shared brilliant behind-the-scenes tunnel footage ahead of their Premier League game against Everton where Declan Rice was seen issuing a rallying cry to his teammates.

The Hammers finally returned to winning ways in the Premier League by beating the Toffees 2-0. Jarrod Bowen scored twice in the game as David Moyes’s side picked up a convincing win.

In the footage, shared by the club’s official Twitter handle (22 January), we find Rice telling his teammates – “This is massive for us, come on”.

“Boys come on. This is massive for us, come on,” said Rice.

Final season?

There is a feeling that it could be the final season for Rice at West Ham, but we all know he will give his everything on the pitch.

Rice has stated his desire of playing in the Champions League time and again, and he has refused to sign new deals at the club.

While the Hammers did make progress in recent years under David Moyes, the present campaign has been a huge disappointment.

West Ham

Rice is playing his best football for club and country and he deserves to play at a big club.

West Ham should look to get the best deal out of him during the summer.

The Guardian reported on 21 January that Rice is leaning towards joining Arsenal who have drawn up plans for where the West Ham captain would fit into the team already.

Despite interest from other clubs like Chelsea, the Gunners have made Rice their top transfer target. Manchester United are also expected to join the race for the 24-year-old midfielder who would cost more than £100m.
