West Ham United set to keep Tomas Soucek as clubs lose interest
Tomas Soucek is all set to remain as a West Ham United player this season with no clubs in an active pursuit, according to Claret and Hugh.
On 5 July, Claret and Hugh reported that Karren Brady saw the Czech Republic international’s exit as inevitable with one unnamed Champions League side previously prepared to make an offer to the Irons.
But now a source has told the West Ham insiders that there are no longer any teams actively trying to sign the 27-year-old before the transfer window closes.

Providing there is no late twist to the saga, David Moyes is likely to have his ideal midfield duo of Declan Rice and the marauding Soucek available when Manchester City come to town on 7 August.
There is more concern over next summer though as the Czech will enter the final year of his current contract and West Ham may want to sell before losing him on a free transfer.
Fantastic
This is the good news that Moyes will have been waiting for ever since Soucek started gaining attention from elsewhere and it is the best outcome for all parties.

Despite a couple of very good years at the London Stadium, the Czech has possibly not done enough to warrant a big move away to a club challenging for trophies every season so he could do with that extra year with the Hammers.
By the time next summer rolls around though, West Ham could very well have a trophy of their own to be celebrating whether that be domestically with a favourable FA Cup or League Cup run or on the continent in the Europa Conference League.
There is no doubting that they are a club on the rise and Soucek would have to think long and hard about leaving such a team but he won’t be worrying about that for a while with no one else making any kind of headway to try and take him away from Moyes and West Ham.
