West Ham United ready new Piotr Zielinski bid to be fired imminently
West Ham United are preparing to make a new and improved bid to sign Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski in the “next few hours”, according to Calcio Mercato.
The Polish international has already been in talks with the Irons and, according to Il Mattino, has been offered a wage of £96,000 per week which is far more than he is earning in Naples.
Napoli though have remained firm that £29.3million is needed for Zielinski to be sold this summer and Calcio Mercato believe that the imminent bid from the London Stadium is not far away from that valuation.

West Ham United’s first offer of £20.9million was turned down by the Italian side but they could face a stumbling block in that the 28-year-old is not keen to give up Champions League football.
He would also be the Hammers’ second signing from Italy’s top flight this summer after giant striker Gianluca Scamacca headed for Rush Green from Sassuolo for £35million.
Big push
It’s clear that David Moyes is still not entirely satisfied with his squad at the moment despite four summer signings already through the door.
He has managed to solve his problems at striker while also getting an extra cover player in midfield but the latter area, in particular, is one that needs work.

His starting duo will probably still be Declan Rice and Tomas Soucek but before Flynn Downes’ arrival, there was no backup and that is what the Englishman and Zielinski (if he joins) is there to do.
There is still a need for a new left-back with Aaron Cresswell the only natural in that position and their new centre-half, Nayef Aguerd, is now injured which does not help Moyes’ squad-building plans.
Moves need to be made quickly too because West Ham will welcome the reigning Premier League champions Manchester City to the capital on the opening weekend of the 2022-23 campaign and Pep Guardiola’s side don’t take any prisoners.
