West Ham United reach ‘full agreement’ with Chelsea for Emerson Palmieri
West Ham have reached “full agreement” to sign Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea this summer, as per Fabrizio Romano.
The Guardian journalist wrote for Caughtoffside substack on 21 August that the Hammers have agreed a deal for a fee of around £13m plus add-ons, around £2m.
At one point it seemed like the Hammers would miss out on him, but they have come back to the negotiation table to secure a deal for the left-back.

Good addition
The Hammers desperately needed to add a new left-back to their ranks, and they have secured a deal for an experienced player.
The sticking point could be meeting the personal terms with the player, and other agent fees, but it seems West Ham are hopeful that they can pull off a deal for him.
Emerson has made 71 appearances for the Blues and has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell. He has won the Champions League, the Europa League, and the UEFA Super Cup with Chelsea.

While he failed to win the Premier League, he has got one FA Cup medal. He will be challenging Aaron Cresswell for the first-team spot and will add significant depth to the side.
This is a brilliant transfer window for the Hammers, where they have shown ambition in the market. Emerson, should he join, will become the seventh addition to the club this summer.
