West Ham United player Declan Rice shares reaction after England beat Senegal in World Cup

West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice took to Twitter to express his reaction after England won 3-0 against Senegal in the World Cup round of 16 in Qatar.

Goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane, and Bukayo Saka earned England a comfortable victory, where Jude Bellingham played a massive role for the nation.

Rice, once again, was tremendous in midfield against Senegal, as England will now face France in the World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday 10 December.

“Togetherness pushing us on. Another unbelievable night in an England shirt. Let’s keep pushing,” wrote Rice on Twitter after the game.

After a breathtaking first half, England had an easy ride in the second half and controlled the game extremely well. The damage was already done.

Rice made one tackle, and one interception, and played out 55 passes with 94.6% accuracy, as per Who scored.

The Hammers skipper has been superb throughout the World Cup campaign, and he has made everyone proud.

West Ham fans will hope that he can maintain the same level of form for the Hammers as well, as the club badly need him to deliver.

During the World Cup, Rice once again made his intention clear that he wants to play in the Champions League and win trophies, indirectly hinting that this could be his last season at the London club.

He has been a great asset for the Hammers, and losing him will be a massive blow. At the same time, he deserves to play at a big club, and West Ham should look to get the best deal for him.
