West Ham United offer blank cheque to Julen Lopetegui, he’s ready to say ‘yes’
West Ham United want Julen Lopetegui to replace David Moyes at the end of the season and he is now ready to take the job, according to Spanish news outlet El Gol Digital.
There has been no lack of rumours suggesting that the Hammers could move for the former Wolves manager this summer.
Now El Gol Digital journalist Wilmer Ayala has reported on 25 April that “a blank cheque” has been offered to tempt Lopetegui to the London Stadium.
West Ham have considered the idea of appointing him and now he is “ready to say yes” to a Premier League return.
The outlet has suggested that the Spaniard has been “placed as the number one option” to become Hammers boss.

There has been a call from many West Ham fans to change Moyes in favour of a manager with an exciting football philosophy.
This has seen links to Ruben Amorim and Paulo Fonseca which have caught the imagination of fans in the past week.
With rumours slowing down with the duo, now this report on Lopetegui suggests that the move is becoming more likely.
The Guardian reported (24 April) that “productive talks” had been held between the Spaniard and the East Londoners.
In his time with Sevilla, the manager often opted to make the most of a low or mid-block to shut out his opposition.
Although this has proved to be effective at different times throughout spells with different clubs, he won’t excite West Ham fans for his football.
Moyes has been highly effective in his second spell at the London Stadium. A Conference League win and consistent Europa League football have been representative of his spell at the club.
His style of football is what is making Hammers fans push him away and Lopetegui is likely to face the same problem.
