West Ham United now look at new midfield targets after Piotr Zielinski – Sky Sports
West Ham United have moved on to brand new midfield targets already after failing to seal a move for Napoli ace Piotr Zielinski, according to Sky Sports.
The reliable source has reported that the Hammers are now unlikely to pursue any kind of deal for the Polish international with the valuations now far apart.
Zielinski still has two years left on his current deal with the option for a further one, and that looks as though where he will be playing his football still.

Writing in their live blog on Thursday [28 July, 16:40], Sky Sports shared the latest news as the Irons look to get another midfielder through the door.
“West Ham United are unlikely to pursue a deal for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski,” they wrote. “The Premier League club held initial talks and there was a gap in valuation between what they were prepared to pay and what Napoli wanted.
“It looks increasingly likely that he will stay at Napoli where he will be guaranteed Champions League football next season. Zielinski has two years left on his contract with the option of a further year.”
“West Ham are focussing on other targets.”

Smart.
West Ham United have money to spend, but they cannot allow clubs to go too far with their demands.
There has to be a point in which you move away from deals, no matter how much you want them, as it could just contribute to running the club into the ground financially.
GSBK have backed David Moyes and Rob Newman fantastically so far, and with the striker dilemma now sorted, all eyes could be on this midfield conundrum.
Gianluca Scamacca has arrived from Serie A side Sassuolo, and although he won’t be followed by Zielinski, there will be more new arrivals at the London Stadium.
There have been many names floated around to join the club, with Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek and Flynn Downes needing one more new face to help.
With the new Premier League season approaching quickly, it looks as though the Hammers are looking to get two new faces through the door as soon as possible.
All eyes are on this one.
