West Ham United now in talks for David Raum transfer as left-back hunt steps up
West Ham United are now in talks over bringing Hoffenheim defender David Raum to the London Stadium, according to The Times.
The newspaper has reported on its website that the Irons are now looking for a long-term successor for Aaron Cresswell as one of their next transfer moves.
It is said that the Hammers would need to pay around £33million for the German international, one year after he was signed on a free transfer from Greuther Fürth.

West Ham are now increasingly confident of sealing deals to sign Armando Broja and Jesse Lingard this week, with those deals the current priority.
On top of that, a bid is also in for Amadou Onana, who is now pushing for a move to the London Stadium with a bid worth more than £30million being lodged [Standard].
Once those are completed or batted away, the Irons will know what position they are in with their squad.
It could be that David Moyes only needs a new left-back after those three to complete his side for the new Premier League season, with the Conference League also coming to town.

Wow.
If all of these deals are pulled off, could this be the best window we have ever seen?
Moyes and Rob Newman will be due a lot of credit but we have to take our hats off to GSB and Daniel Kretinsky if they get to finish off this transfer blitz.
We are all quick enough to take aim when something goes wrong, so it has to be the other way round when they tick all of the boxes and start firing cash around like this.
Cresswell has been a brilliant servant at the London Stadium since arriving from Ipswich all those years ago, but last season was the first sign of his decline.
His couple of red cards in the Europa League, no matter how much we argued against them, cost us in the ultimate pursuit of picking up that piece of silverware.
With little competition pushing him from the likes of Arthur Masuaku, it is time to put our foot down and splash the cash on a new option – Raum is that man.
West Ham United are going places.
