West Ham United now in advanced talks to sign Niclas Fullkrug and two other players
West Ham United are in advanced talks to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Niclas Fullkrug and Crysencio Summerville, according to Sean Whetstone.
Writing via the West Ham Football account on X (31 July), Hammers reporter Whetstone claimed that the club are closing in on a major triple signing.
Leeds winger Summerville is already due to undergo a medical with the Irons [Dharmesh Sheth] but it seems Tim Steidten is also zeroing in on deals for Borussia Dortmund centre-forward Fullkrug and Manchester United right-back Wan-Bissaka.
Who will Julen Lopetegui sign for West Ham United?
Lopetegui has had a busy start to life as the West Ham manager.
Working alongside Steidten, David Moyes’ successor has brought Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman to the club. He’s now on the verge of striking deals for the best player in the Championship last season, one of the best right-backs in the Premier League and an experienced German striker who’s scored goals for fun throughout his career.
Out of these three new potential signings, Fullkrug is the one who’s going to be asked the most of because the Hammers simply keep getting No 9 signings wrong.

Fullkrug will hopefully prove to be the exception to the rule but it’s hard for some fans to be excited by a 31-year-old striker who’s never played outside of his home country.
However, last season he scored 16 times and supplied 10 assists in 46 total appearances. He also scored three goals on Dortmund’s route to the Champions League final – including a winner against PSG in the semi-finals – and played for Germany at the Euros and scored twice for them.
Fans should be thrilled with this one.
