West Ham United news: David Moyes could be given £100m transfer budget

West Ham boss David Moyes can expect to get a massive transfer kitty, in the region of £100 million, according to Claret and Hugh.

The summer transfer window is going to be massive for the Hammers, as the club will look to bolster the squad to take the club to the next level.

Moyes has an incredible job to take the Hammers to the semi-final of the Europa League this season, and he must be backed with funds in the summer to add quality players.

Huge summer

The season is not over yet for the Hammers.

Moyes will have to make sure they secure a place for next season’s European competitions, as failure to do so could see some of his star players leave.

West Ham have been trying to persuade Declan Rice to sign a new deal at the club. He will probably sign a new extension, but he wants to see ambition from the club.

With Daniel Kretinsky on board, the Hammers boss is likely to be backed heavily in the summer.

The London outfit need to first sort out the goalkeeping situation, with Alphonse Areola’s future still hanging in balance.

Adding a central defender is key, with Angelo Ogbonna entering the final year of his seal and Issa Diop likely to be shipped away.

The Hammers must sign one or two midfielders with Mark Noble set to retire at the end of the season.

Finally, signing a quality striker is essential. On top of that, adding one or two attacking midfielders would be ideal.
