West Ham United news: £30m bid update emerges as Nottingham Forest ace Brennan Johnson on transfer wishlist
West Ham United, Aston Villa, Everton and Brentford are reportedly monitoring the situation to sign Nottingham Forest attacker Brennan Johnson this summer.
According to the Athletic on 15 June, the Bees have submitted a £30million offer to sign the Wales international this summer.
It’s understood that to consider any potential sale, Forest would require a bid of £50million at least to enter into talks.

Johnson is 22 and capable of playing in multiple roles so this is a signing that makes sense on paper.
He’ll start ahead of Said Benrahma and offer more of a goal threat than him from open play as well.
With Declan Rice leaving, it frees up funds for Hammers to strengthen in other areas and signing a left winger is likely to be on the cards.
Johnson can play down the middle and it could be a fluid front three if Gianluca Scamacca leaves and another mobile striker is signed to replace him.
The Welshman is talented and will bring something unique to David Moyes’ West Ham side.
He was also billed as “Magnificent” by Matt Holland on Premier League Productions [5 March, 14:42] after his performance against the Everton.
It remains to be seen if the Hammers do end up entering the bidding war for him but given the numbers involved, they may decide to sit this one back as of now.
